Notes:	Please adhere to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Training Division Dress Code, which is Business Casual for both male and female students. Shorts, tank tops, shirts with obscene and/or inappropriate graphics and text, jeans with rips and/or holes, hats, and open-toe footwear ARE NOT ALLOWED. You will be asked to leave the classroom if you violate the dress code.

This course covers civil jurisdiction of courts, peace officer responsibilities, and the rules and codes that govern the service and return of civil citations, writs, subpoenas and other documents. This course is approved for 20 TCOLE hours and meets the TCOLE requirements for Civil Process #3131.

Requisite for enrollment: This course is open to those actively employed with a Texas Constable agency or the US Marshal Office assigned in Texas.  Anyone employed with a Texas Sheriff Office will need to provide documentation on a department letterhead indicating they are actively assigned to the service and execution of civil processes for that Sheriff Office. This course is not available to municipal, township, or ISD agencies.
