Notes:	Please adhere to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Training Division Dress Code, which is Business Casual for both male and female students. Shorts, tank tops, shirts with obscene and/or inappropriate graphics and text, jeans with rips and/or holes, hats, and open-toe footwear ARE NOT ALLOWED. You will be asked to leave the classroom if you violate the dress code.

This course introduces the student to the teaching-learning process, phases of the teaching-learning process, factors affecting learning, preparing a lesson plan, and methods of instruction. The students will be taught how to develop and use instructional media to enhance their presentations and the fundamental techniques of developing testing and evaluation procedures. Each student must demonstrate the basic knowledge and skills required to effectively instruct a lesson during two teaching exercises. Successful completion of the course will allow the student to apply for their TCOLE Instructor Proficiency certificate. Required Materials: Note Taking Materials, other materials will be advised on the first day. Course is approved for 40 TCOLE hours.
